GermanFest Picnic 5K Run / Walk Date:Friday, August 13, 2010 Location: Carrillon Historical Park - Dayton, Ohio Time: Race begins at 6:30pm The 10th Annual 5k Run/Walk is presented in conjunction with the 27th Anniversary of the GermanFest Picnic August 13 - 15, 2010, one of the region’s top 20 festivals. Open to the public with free admission. Food, drink, music, special exhibits and Gemuetlichkeit!

Course / Facilities The race and the tradition continue to grow! Registration, start, and finish are at the entrance to Carillon Park off Carillon Blvd. Course runs along the Great Miami River. Race Awards The top three Male and Female overall and top masters finishers will receive special awards. The top three finishers in each age group will also receive awards. Special door prize drawings will be held for the first 100 registrants; last year we had over $600 in give-aways. Results will be posted at www.keysports.net. Registration Pre-registration is $15 up to August 1st with a unique, commemorative, multicolored T-shirt guaranteed for all pre-registrants. Late registration is $20, sorry no guarantee of shirt. Race day registration and packet pickup will be from 5:00PM-6:15PM at Carillon Park. Special group rate (10 or more) fee will be $10 each if preregistered together. Shirts will feature FEST theme-200th Anniversary of Munich Oktoberfest. Information The race is hosted by the Dayton Liederkranz Turner.
