Our speaker will be Elizabeth Grismer, author of the book, “Chair Tales and Other Stories.”  Her book and presentation will be about the Stomps-Burkhardt Chair factory, owned by German immigrants around the turn of the century.

Following her one hour presentation and a short question and answer period, time will be devoted to those who sought our assistance at the Genealogy Center. Our goal is to match these people with a mentor to help them on their way to finding their German ancestry.

The German Genealogy Group (GGG) will have a Work/Share session soon to further assist those individuals who sought our help in their search to find their German Heritage.
