German Dance Lessons 7:30 p.m.

Monday, February 20, 2017
Event Details:

Free Dance Instruction
The Waltz, the Polka, the “Sound of Music” Ländler, and the ultimate, robust and fun Schuhplattler are some the dances that will be taught in preparation for the Fasching Party in February. Germany consists of different regions which each have their unique characteristics. In terms of folk dance, "German" refers not only to modern Germany but also Austria, parts of Switzerland and Bohemia, a formerly German speaking part of the Czech Republic.
Wouldn't it be great if you knew how to do just 1 dance for an Oktoberfest or Fasching party? Look no further than Monday nights from 7:30 – 9 pm at the Dayton Liederkranz Turner Club. Dance is free, beer is available for purchase and a little exercise is a bonus. Come alone or with a friend. No partner is necessary.
